Gear for the gaming table
Not display pieces. Not an afterthought. Built for the table and built to last.
Why quality matters
If you've been at the table long enough, you've already noticed what's wrong with most of what's out there.
01
Thin plastic and rubber feet that give up halfway through the session. A hardwood tray with the right weight stays where you put it.
02
Cheap tolerances mean the dice bounce unpredictably and the sound carries across the table. Solid wood construction changes both.
03
Cardboard folds. Thin acrylic warps. A properly built DM screen stays upright for the whole campaign, not just the first session.
04
Hardwood, suede, and leather don't degrade the way plastic does. They break in. Five years from now your tray looks like it belongs on that table.
How it's made
The FreundForge line didn't start with a product brief. It started with Frazer spending enough hours at a gaming table to form strong opinions about what the gear should feel like.
Every FreundForge piece goes through the same process: sketch, cut, fit, line, finish, and at some point, actually use it at a table before it ships.
Why FreundForge exists
I didn't grow up playing D&D. Instead, I got pulled in by a friend, shown up to a session, handed a character sheet, and that was that. I was in love.
FreundForge came out of that. Spending enough time at gaming tables to notice what the gear actually feels like to use, and thinking:
That's a woodworking problem. That's fixable.
If someone's going to sit down at your table for four hours, the gear should feel like it was made for that.
Customisation
Every FreundForge piece can be configured before it's built — wood species, lining material, inlay work, engraving. If you know what you want, use the made-to-order form. If you're not sure, we can work through it together.
FreundForge is still being built out. These are next — in order.
A maple-walled coffin for d20s and tokens. Felt liner, magnetic latch, sigil engraved on the lid.
